Your project must be reviewed and approved by the relevant research committee before you start. For more details, submission instructions, and policies, visit each committee’s page by clicking the link below.
Institutional Review Board: (Human Subject Research) IRB
For guidance, consultations, and questions: please contact the Office of Research Regulatory Affairs.
The Office of Research Regulatory Affairs (ORRA) is responsible for registering ALL Research Students (Internal and External) for required CITI training per area of research; Please contact Office of Research Regulatory Affairs to begin the registration process.
Once you have been registered, access your courses:
CITI Online Training Access:
- Visit CITI program homepage
- Click Log in > LOG IN THROUGH MY INSTITUTION
- Select Western University of Health Sciences and sign in using your credentials. Click Accept
- In COURSES READY TO BEGIN, select START NOW. Click I AGREE.
**** For EXTERNAL Students, or if you are a WesternU student and cannot log in with your credentials:
Click on Log In
Type in your USER NAME and PASSWORD
In COURSES READY TO BEGIN, select START NOW . Click AGREE
Once you have completed your training, please add your CITI completion certificate to your IRBNet www.irbnet.org User profile. For instructions ,visit Submission process or please contact ORRA
