    Are you the first person in your family to pursue a higher education and have doubts on whether or not you can succeed? Join us to hear from former WesternU alumni who, like you, were the first in their families to pursue their degree in the health care field. Our alumni guests will share their experiences and discuss common concerns from first-time university students, such as: how to handle the pressure of being the first in your family to go to university; feeling like you have no one to confide in about your struggles, and more! You’ll also have an opportunity to ask them your questions during an open Q&A session. We hope you can join us!  

  • Doctor of Nursing Practice – Leadership | Introductory Information Session

    Thursday, August 21 at 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time

    MSN degreed nurses will be taught how to transform healthcare with a blend of practice, organizational, economic, and leadership skills. Students in this program will learn how to evaluate and apply clinical evidence and science to design systems of care delivery that are locally acceptable, economically feasible, and have significant impact on health care outcomes. During these sessions you will have an opportunity to participate in other College of Nursing Events in you looking to gain knowledge in multiple nursing pathways.
