Our colleges and programs offer a number of in-person and virtual events throughout the year, from virtual preview days, to group advising sessions, to presentations from faculty and more. The list below provides links to information and registration for many of these events, and is updated regularly as new events are added.

  • Forum for Diversity in Health Professions Programs | California Campus

    Join us for an informal, complimentary lunch on our Pomona campus, where we’ll be bringing together prospective and current students from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the health professions for conversation and connection. Attendees will break out into small groups based on their program of interest, and will be joined by current students who will share insight on their journey to graduate school, experiences with WesternU and the profession, plans for the future, and more! Organized by the Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the Office of Admissions, this lunch is designed for prospective students who are underrepresented in health care, to support them on their journey to a health professions program. Space is limited, so register today!

We’ll be covering AACOMAS, pre-requisites, competitive stats, the interview process and more.

    Are you interested in learning more about the important role of podiatric physicians in sports medicine? Join our webinar to hear from Dr. Bryon McKenna, DPM (WesternU Class of 2016), and Dr. Arman Kirakosian, DPM and Team Doctor for the San Jose Quakes and Sacramento Republic FC, as they share their experiences working in sports medicine. They’ll also be joined by former patients and athletes who will share their perspective on how podiatric medical treatments helped their return to sports.

    Prospective med students and their guests are invited to visit and tour the WesternU College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) Northwest. The day will be made up of informational presentations and a tour of the various labs and other facilities. Lunch provided. Schedule forthcoming.
