    For prospective students who are interested in becoming physical therapists, Western University of Health Sciences hosts a virtual advising session designed to help you learn more about our Doctor of Physical Therapy programs.

    WesternU’s DPT Recruiters, Martin Williams and Ryan Vidales, will host virtual advising session designed to help you learn more about our Doctor of Physical Therapy programs in Pomona, CA and Lebanon, OR, respectively. 

    During this session, you are encouraged to ask questions regarding admissions, curriculum, clinical rotations, or any other topics related to your pursuit of an DPT degree.  This is an open and informal session where you will receive personalized guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment.

    Join us for the 2026 PreDental to DMD Application Roadmap Workshop, designed to help prospective dental students better understand the steps involved in preparing a strong DMD application. This session will provide an overview of the application process, key timelines, admissions requirements, prerequisite planning, and tips for presenting yourself as a competitive applicant. Attendees will also receive guidance on preparing for the next application cycle, strengthening their experiences, and understanding what to expect throughout the admissions process.

    Monday, September 21 at 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time
    Join us for a Zoom presentation on the WesternU COMP and COMP-Northwest curriculum.  Dr. Talbot, Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, will speak on the systems based approach used during the first two years of medical school, along with information on Interprofessional Education, Service Learning and more.  Next, Dr. White, Associate Dean, Clinical Education and Associate Professor of Family Medicine, will speak on the clinical third and fourth year rotations and the pathway on to residency.  The faculty presenters will be joined by medical students who will share their insights and experiences, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

  • Pharmacy School Application & Interview Workshop

    Thursday, September 24 at 6:30 PM Pacific Standard Time

    Join us for an interactive on-campus workshop designed to help students navigate the pharmacy school application and interview process, especially as the PharmCAS application cycle is now open.

    Participants will gain practical insight into the application process, learn strategies for preparing for pharmacy school interviews, and take part in hands-on activities to practice what they learn. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with current pharmacy students, and gain firsthand insight into the pharmacy school experience.

    Food will be provided for all participants, so come ready to learn, engage, and connect with the WesternU pharmacy community!

    For pre-med students who are interested in becoming physicians with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree, Western University of Health Sciences hosts a virtual advising session every last Wednesday of the month in 2026. Our Assistant Director of Recruitment, TJ Pe, will be available to answer your admissions questions and/or get you connected with DPM students and faculty for more in-depth information about the program and career. This is an open session that you may enter and leave at your own convenience.

    “From WesternU to Healthcare Leadership: Exploring WesternU’s New MHA Program” is an event that is specifically built for current WesternU staff members, students, and alumni, who are interested in earning a Master of Healthcare Administration degree. Recruiter of Graduate Health Professions Programs, Ryan Vidales, will provide prospective students with a comprehensive overview of the program, including its flexible schedule, curriculum structure, and experiential learning opportunities. Following the presentation, Ryan will lead a Q&A session, where prospective applicants can ask any questions related to the MHA application process, program structure, professional opportunities, and much more.
