Humanism is at the core of WesternU and encompasses values that we believe to be vital in health care, education, and community. WesternU is dedicated to creating an environment for all students to thrive and to further humanism in health care. To both empower and help build a sense of community, we will strive to connect you with healthcare professionals and current students who share similar lived experiences or who have faced similar obstacles as you may have . Building strong relationships with various community organizations, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) is part of the work that we do in recruitment. We host events and one-on-one advising for students to assist them in feeling part of our campus community. We wish to create and proactively obtain a humanistic climate for all members of our community.
