Out-of-State Regulations

Out-of-State Students Interested in College of Graduate Nursing Online Programs

The implementation of current Department of Education and Board of Registered Nursing regulations have an impact on applicants from out-of-state.

We strive to attain authorization/approval to offer our distance programs to students in every state. However, state laws and regulations are dynamic, and the monitoring of the specific laws and regulations is continually in flux. Prospective out-of-state students should check this list often and should contact the College of Graduate Nursing for clarification.

WesternU College of Graduate Nursing is authorized to offer its online programs to students living in the following states:

  • Alaska
  • Arizona (DNP Leadership and ENP Program ONLY)
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Florida
  • Hawaii
