Founded in 2021 by WesternU College of Veterinary Medicine faculty members Dr. Annika Linde and Dr. Tonatiuh Melgarejo, the True One Medicine Initiative (TOMI) advances species-spanning medicine through evidence-based research and ethical scientific decision-making. The flagship project explores plant-based nutrition in companion dogs.
