Well Wishes from the Office of the President
President’s Office
December 19, 2025
Dear highly valued WesternU Students, Faculty, Staff, and Administrators,
As we enter winter break, I want to pause and express my most sincere gratitude for the extraordinary daily sacrifice, dedication, commitment, value, and indefatigable contributions you bring to WesternU.
WesternU is, above all, a community defined by purpose and people. Our humanistic ethos is not a slogan; it is a lived commitment, evident in the way we teach, serve, collaborate, and care for one another. It is visible in the compassion our students and faculty bring to patient care, the devotion our faculty bring to mentorship and discovery, and the professionalism and steady excellence our staff bring to supporting the entire educational and clinical mission of the institution.
This year, we have made tremendous progress together. Across both the Pomona, California, and Lebanon, Oregon campuses, we have strengthened alignment, improved systems, elevated standards, forged a new and tangible vision in capital development, and continued to advance a culture of excellence and support. We have sharpened our institutional focus, expanded our momentum, and deepened the sense of unity that makes WesternU distinct among health sciences universities.
What gives me the greatest confidence is not simply what we have accomplished, but the way in which we are realizing our goals: through shared purpose, principled leadership, and a collective belief in the future we are building. WesternU’s best chapters are ahead, and they will be written by this community, together.
As we look toward the coming year, we do so with an ambitious agenda and a clear, forward-looking vision: to educate and graduate academically excellent, practice-ready, humanistic health professionals; to expand clinical and community impact; to accelerate innovation and research; to enhance the student experience; and to strengthen the long-term sustainability of the university, ideally positioned to serve generations to come.
As we close another remarkable year together, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for all that you do. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to our shared mission continue to move our university forward and make our community truly special.
The holiday season is a wonderful time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the accomplishments we’ve achieved together. I hope each of you takes this opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy meaningful moments with family, friends, and loved ones.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a bright, healthy, and prosperous New Year ahead. I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the year to come.
With gratitude and warm wishes for a safe and restorative winter break,
President Robin Farias-Eisner
and the Office of the President
