Veteran’s Day 2025

Dear WesternU Community,

Today, we pause to honor the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, those who have served, and those who continue to serve, in defense of the freedoms and values we hold dear.

At WesternU, we are proud to count among our students, faculty, staff, and alumni many who have worn the uniform of our country. Their commitment to service reflects the very heart of our mission: to advance humanistic education, healing, and compassion in service to others.

On this Veterans Day, let us take time to express our gratitude to the veterans within our university community and beyond. Let us also recommit ourselves to supporting them, not only in words, but through action, advocacy, and care. Their example reminds us that leadership is grounded in selflessness and that service to others is among the highest callings.
