Strategic Plan Townhall
President’s Office
April 16, 2025
Rooted in strategic endeavors that have shaped our campuses, students, and educational landscapes, we are driving forward with a newly developed strategic plan solidifying WesternU as the solution to critical healthcare needs and workforce shortages. This multi-year initiative is a critical step in WesternU’s ongoing transition into a mature university—one grounded in an evidence-based culture, internal stability, and a clear vision for the future.
To advance this effort, the Strategic Planning Committee will host a Townhall on May 8, 2025, at noon in HEC Lecture Hall 2 or via Zoom. This forum is a vital opportunity for ongoing dialogue and collective input, shaping the foundational phases of this transformative collaboration. Your participation will directly influence the development of initiatives that impact student learning, faculty research, and staff development.
WesternU remains steadfast in its commitment to the health and well-being of our community. It is through shared governance and the active participation of our stakeholders that we cultivate authentic communication, collaboration, and collegiality so vital to the success of our mission and strategic vision.
Your voice is essential. Your insights will help ensure that our shared governance model remains effective, transparent, and representative of our diverse community. Together, we will assess how the Strategic Plan aligns with WesternU’s long-term goals, strengthens decision-making, and fosters engagement among faculty, staff, students, administrators, and institutional partners.
Register today to mark your calendar, and we will provide further updates as we advance through these early phases.
We appreciate your unity in purpose, your collective commitment, and your role in shaping the future of WesternU.
Warmest Regards,
Robin
