Dear WesternU Community,

I hope this email finds you and your loved ones well.

Several students reached out to me last night regarding enhanced security measures on campus today in light of international events.

The WesternU security teams have assured us of their presence on campus today and every day.

Student safety and the safety of the entire WesternU community are of the utmost priority for the University.

An increase in various measures have been introduced relatively recently, including an increase in the total number of security personnel authorized to carry firearms, and a significant increase in patrol hours for security personnel, to mention a few

The WesternU administration, including myself, is available to you at any time.

Please try to focus on your class curriculum and try not to worry. Nevertheless, please remain aware of your surroundings and please do report anything you may deem to be unusual.
