Dr. Leo Pereira was born in Brazil but grew up in Philadelphia where he completed his medical training at University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, and Thomas Jefferson University. He joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University in 2004 where he has served as the Director of Obstetric Services, MFM Fellowship Director, and MFM Division Director. Currently he serves as the Vice-Chair for Clinical Outreach for the OBGYN Department and as the Interim Executive Director of the OHSU Fetal Therapy Program at OHSU. He has an extensive academic background with numerous research projects, publications, and grants.
