After completing her training, she moved back to San Diego where she worked for a short time at Family Health Centers of San Diego. She then was hired by the VA San Diego and is now the Chief of Gynecology at the VA San Diego. Dr. Steller is excited to expand her impact and role as a teacher and mentor. She has a strong passion for women’s health and looks forward to passing this passion on to future generations. She will continue her role at the VA San Diego. Dr. Steller is married to an internal medicine physician who works at Kaiser. They have three children, two girls and one boy, who provide them endless joy and pride. She still plays the cello on occasion at her church and enjoys singing in the church choir and helping with the childrens’ music programs. She enjoys traveling whenever possible and exploring and experiencing new things.
