Dr. Fung is pleased to join Western University as Assistant Professor and Associate Coordinator of Pre-Clinical Curriculum after teaching at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC for 17 years. He is an alumnus of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC graduating in 1995. He has served as a group practice director, pre-clinical course director, and dental materials instructor primarily intermixed with clinical teaching. He has served as a WREB resource for he last five years there.
Dr. Fung currently practices privately concentrating on Sleep Apnea and Invisalign on a limited basis. Prior to this appointment, he practiced half-time for 8 years in Huntington Beach. He has also practiced in Newport Beach and Santa Monica.
Outside of work, Dr. Fung is recently married. He and his wife, Kari, can be found at the Los Angeles Kings home games where he has enjoyed season seats for 17 years, working on the garden or home, playing guitar or violin, reading on various topics, hiking, and restaurant hopping.
Dr. Fung is excited to join the ranks at Western University and thoroughly enjoys teaching young colleagues about dentistry.
