Dr. Polenskeis a physical therapistand athletic trainer originallyfrom Boise, Idaho, who joined WesternU to return to academia and share his passion for mentorship. He holds a bachelor’s degree in ExerciseScience, amaster’s in athletic training, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University. With aclinical focusonsports and orthopedic rehab, hisresearch focuseson athletic injury prevention and rehabilitation.Dr. Polenske is excited to help shape theprofession ina collaborative, student-centered environment. A triathlete and avid skier, he enjoys outdoor adventures with his partner, Leah, and their two pets.
