Dr. Kirakosian has served as Residency Director at the VA San Francisco Medical Center since 2017, where he provides exceptional care to veterans and guides the next generation of podiatric physicians, training both residents and podiatric medical students. His commitment to education is further reflected in his 18 years of teaching anatomy at San Francisco State University, where he integrated academic rigor with real-world surgical experience to create an engaging and practical learning environment for students.
In addition to his academic and clinical contributions, Dr. Kirakosian currently serves as President of the California Podiatric Medical Association and brings extensive experience in sports medicine to CPM. He currently serves as the team podiatrist for the Sacramento Republic FC (USL) and the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS) and has represented the profession internationally as the primary team doctor for the Armenian Women’s National Soccer Team during World Cup and Euro Cup qualifying competitions.
