COMP Health Education and Community Enrichment Fund

Why This Fund?
This fund supports initiatives and programs that foster a humanistic environment where all students, faculty, and staff can thrive. Through educational opportunities, professional development, and community engagement, these efforts aim to cultivate a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous learning within COMP and COMP-Northwest.
A key focus of this program is to enhance healthcare education by equipping students and clinicians with the knowledge and skills needed to understand and address challenges in healthcare access and patient care. By promoting awareness of factors that influence health outcomes, the program prepares future healthcare professionals to provide competent, well-informed, and patient-centered care to diverse populations.
One of the cornerstone initiatives, the DIVERSITY TALKS Lecture Series, provides a platform for faculty, staff, and students to engage with experts on critical topics in healthcare, professional development, and community well-being. These discussions encourage open dialogue, broaden perspectives, and inspire a commitment to improving health outcomes for all individuals. Funding is needed to support guest speakers and recognize contributors who make a meaningful impact through their work.
