With Gratitude

President’s Office

November 20, 2023

Dear WesternU Students, Faculty, and Staff,

Thanksgiving is a time of gathering family, friends, pets, and community members to celebrate a joyful harvest and reflect on the people, the traditions, and the memories of what unites us as a family and as a community.

It is also a time to remember those in need – those who might not have the resources to travel, to gather, and in some cases, even afford a Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanksgiving is a time to give and to share the bounty of our blessings with others.

As you celebrate the Thanksgiving break this Thursday and Friday, I encourage you to pause and remember those things in life that bring you joy and the people, loved ones, and memories that you hold dear.

For my part, I want to share my gratitude for all of you.

My heart swells with hope and pride as I consider the magnitude of impact that our University faculty, staff, students, and alumni have on our World.

We share a very special calling at WesternU.

Our ethos of humanism embraces people from all backgrounds, orientations, and all walks of life and cares for them with dignity and respect.

It is an honor, a pleasure, and a privilege to serve you as WesternU’s president.

Thank you for all that you do for the University and for the World!

What you do on a daily basis definitely makes a difference!
Robin
