He has concentrated on small animal practice since 1994, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in canine and feline practice since 2003. Currently he is an instructor for the Wellness Rotation where first and second year Western University veterinary students learn clinical skills and are exposed to clinical small animal medicine. Of those 20 years, she has spent 10 years specializing in animal ophthalmology and the management aspects of the field before deciding to go back general medicine. She wanted to be able to participate in the education of future veterinarians. Her career here at the Western University College of Veterinary Medicine started on November 2014. As the Veterinary Technician Manager, she loves that she can help contribute to education while helping in the development of its veterinary technician team, their skills, and medical knowledge, which contributes to be able to education of students. For her, it is an honor to be a part of a WesternU family that provides excellent patient and practice care while offering a great hospital experience while incorporating student learning and helping surrounding animal shelters, medical research.
