Application should be submitted by the party (Faculty or Student) who paid for the publication charges and after such charges have already been paid.<\/p>\n\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"relative my-48 md:my-72\">\n  <div class=\"container\">\n    <div class=\"lg:flex px-12 lg:justify-center\">\n      \n      \n                  \n                  \n      <div class=\"w-full px-24 wysiwyg-content xl:w-10\/12 2xl:w-9\/12\">\n        <h3>Funding Sources for Students<\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/westernu.sharepoint.com\/sites\/COMPResearchFunding\/SitePages\/Research-Support-Application.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Research Funding Application<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Conference Travel:<\/b>\u00a0<b>Applications must be submitted at least 30 calendar days before the travel date.\u00a0<\/b>Exceptions to this rule will be made if the earliest registration date is less than 30 calendar days from the travel date.<b>\u00a0<\/b>Eligible applicants must be COMP students and\u00a0present a talk or\/and poster. Individual presenters must be listed\u00a0as first or co-first author on an accepted abstract. A requirement for receiving support is that the student&#8217;s Western University of Health Sciences affiliation must be clearly indicated on the poster and the abstract submission. Multiple students presenting the same poster are eligible to apply if they are all listed as main authors (e.g., co-first authors, first and second authors&#8230;).\u00a0Depending on fund availability, individual presenters will receive reimbursement of up\u00a0to $750, whereas group presenters will receive reimbursement of up to $1000 per poster.\u00a0Eligible costs (registration fee, transportation, accommodation and poster printing) are estimated at the time of application and actual costs will be reimbursed as long as they are within 10% of the estimate. Documentation of expenses (receipts, credit card charges) must be submitted to\u00a0<a title=\"mailto:swarda@westernu.edu\" href=\"mailto:swarda@westernu.edu\" data-outlook-id=\"d3973145-8b51-4922-b500-82d31eec2cae\">swarda@westernu.edu<\/a>\u00a0within 1 month after the return travel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Publication Support:<\/b>\u00a0Peer-reviewed publications with COMP Student(s) as co-author(s) are eligible for up to $500 support.
