Option #1 – Receive Prior to Travel<\/span><\/h2>\n

You may request a cash advance before travel. Note-Employees with a WesternU credit card are not eligible for the travel advance they should use their credit card on approved per diem amount for Commencement.<\/em><\/p>\n

  1. Submit the form below\u00a0between Now \u2013 April 28, 2023<\/strong><\/span>. Coordinators, please submit Concur request by mid-day May 2, 2023, and supervisors please approve by end of day May 4, 2023, to receive a travel advance payment by May 10, 2023.<\/li>\n
  2. After Commencement, complete the form below (without receipts) a second time to close out your travel report.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    • Lunch (Friday Only) = $13.00<\/li>\n
    • Dinner = $24.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      *Should you request the cash advance, you may not submit receipts post-travel to increase your limit amounts to the “with receipts” per diem. You can only receive the standard per diem for cash advance.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

      Option #2 – Receive After Travel<\/span><\/h2>\n

      You may request a reimbursement after travel.<\/p>\n

      1. Submit the form below\u00a0within 10 days\u00a0of your trip.<\/li>\n
      2. Save original\/itemized receipts from your trip.<\/li>\n
      3. If itemized receipt is missing, you will be reimbursed the standard per diem amount without receipt\/s for that day.<\/li>\n
      4. Mileage if applicable (no receipt required use mileage calculator)<\/li>\n
      5. Scan all of your receipts into a single pdf.<\/li>\n
      6. Save as: FirstInitial-LastName-Commencement2023 (e.g. S-Smith-Commencement2023)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
