       <h2>Overview<\/h2>\n<p>OER stands for Open Educational Resources. These are educational materials that are freely available to use, adapt, and share. OERs include things like textbooks, lesson plans, quizzes, and videos, which can be used in a variety of educational settings, from K-12 to higher education.<br \/>\nOERs are typically made available under an open license, such as a Creative Commons license, which allows users to access, use, and adapt the materials without the need for permission or payment.<br \/>\nThere are many ways that educators can use OERs in their teaching. Some examples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Using OER textbooks as a replacement for traditional, expensive textbooks.<\/li>\n<li>Adapting OER lesson plans and activities to align with specific learning objectives or to better suit the needs of the students.<\/li>\n<li>Incorporating OER videos and other multimedia resources into lesson plans to make instruction more engaging and interactive.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with other educators to create and share OERs that can be used by educators around the world.<\/li>\n<li>Using OER assessment tools, like quizzes, to evaluate student learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By using OERs, educators can save money on instructional materials and have more control over the content and design of their curriculum.
