Our Mission<\/h3>\n

The Office of Budget Administration’s mission is to ensure WesternU\u2019s financial resources are utilized to their optimal level in alignment with the approved fiscal budget and to facilitate the analysis, planning, reporting, and budgeting of those resources.<\/p>\n

Services that are provided include:<\/p>\n

  • Planning, management, and monitoring of the University\u2019s budget.<\/li>\n
  • Feasibility studies on proposed financial projects, and the utilization of financial resources.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborates with the College\/Departments on the planning of all financial resources.\u00a0Assuring all financial resources are in line with the WesternU mission, accreditation, compliance, and College\u2019s\/Department\u2019s strategic plans.<\/li>\n
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports\u00a0for the Chief Financial Officer and Executive management.<\/li>\n
  • Development of trend analysis and Budget projections.<\/li>\n
  • Assistance to academic and support departments in the development of department budgets.<\/li>\n
  • Develops and\u00a0prepares policies and procedures related to the management of University resources.<\/li>\n
  • Reviewing and processing of budget transfers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
