  • Narrative

    Dr. Urdaneta has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. He has received numerous community and professional awards, including Hispanic Business Salute Award from NBC Telemundo Television and Hispanic Small Business of the Year Award. He continues to dedicate himself to educating, learning and improving the oral health of the community. Dr. Urdaneta¿s ultimate goal is to improve patients quality of life as possible by means of providing the best quality care and treatment for their oral function, comfort and aesthetics. He is Trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Dr. Urdaneta graduated from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) in 2000. He started practicing dentistry in northern California and joined the faculty at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry part-time. Dr. Urdaneta completed a three year Post Graduate Residency at UCSF to specialize in the field of Prosthodontics. He joined the faculty at Western where he teaches Prosthodontics part-time since 2011. He also maintains a lecturer appointment at UCLA Advanced Prosthodontics Division while managing and running a private dental practice in southern Orange county, Quality of Life Prosthodontics. When Dr Urdaneta is not involved in dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, and four teenagers and he maintains a very active lifestyle which includes: surfing, swimming, mountain biking and flying airplanes, as he hold a private pilot license since 1997.
